As the season is wrapping up in college football, sometimes people forget their "P"s and "Q"s. This is what happened this past weekend, when 14th ranked BYU's quarterback was in a postgame press conference after narrowly beat out long-time rival team, the Utah Utes.
Max Hall, BYU's highest winning quarterback in school history, let out a venomous attack on his rival school. He said, "I don't like Utah. In fact, I hate them. I hate everything about them. I hate their program, I hate their fans, I hate everything". Now, this has stuck a nerve in a few people in the state of Utah.
Max Hall attributes his anger to an event last season when his family was harassed by Ute fans at Utah's stadium last year. A day of the press conference, Max Hall released an apology for his attack on the Utah program. The following day, he did receive an reprimand from the Mountain West conference. No further action will probably be taken against Mr. Hall but this outburst will probably be one of the events that stick in fans minds when they remember this college player.
